Hello! I’m Kim Belanger, and I’m so happy you’re here. I love to share my art and wonderings with cool people such as yourself. I’m an artist, photographer, teacher, learner, and wonderer. The art I’m compelled to create combines art and science into what I consider alchemy. Transformation of sunlight and shadow on paper to create cerulean images. Creation of memoryscapes with heat, pigment and wax. Combination of fabric and geometry to create shape. Sometimes it feels like magic.

When I’m not playing with art, I get to play with students. I teach gifted and enrichment to creative elementary and middle school students who inspire me daily. My classroom is known as “The Wonder Room” as we do lots of questioning and wondering. My own children are pursuing their own creative dreams in universities, giving me more time to pursue mine. We are all strengthening our wings with our newfound independence.
